About the role
A CT Technologist/Radiology Technologist who performs CT and X-Ray imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems.
- Perform imaging exams following policies, procedures, and regulations; notify physicians of results.
- Provide patient care support and assist healthcare staff.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats.
- Perform basic clinical procedures under physician or nurse direction.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and record retention.
- Support laboratory testing and sample collection; ensure supplies are stocked.
- Travel between facility locations and participate in staff meetings.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Certification as a medical radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography required.
- CT certification required (or within 12 months, depending on location).
- Current BLS certification required.
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience and 1+ years CT and ER experience preferred.
- Proficiency with imaging hardware/software, PACS, and strong communication skills in English.
