Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-Rays, with minimal supervision.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems.
- Assist physicians and staff by providing technical support and patient care throughout the facility.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; notify physicians of results.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
- Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision, perform lab testing, and maintain supplies.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and recordkeeping.
- Travel to multiple facility locations and participate in staff meetings as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED; AMA-approved Radiology Technology program graduation.
- State certification as a radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography; CT registration preferred or required within 12 months.
- Current BLS certification; 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
- Proficiency with imaging hardware/software and PACS; fluent in English.
