About the role
We are seeking a CT Technologist/Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures such as CT scans and X-Rays with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical assistance and supportive patient care to meet individual needs.
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment like X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems.
- Performing imaging exams following established policies, and notifying physicians of results.
- Carrying out basic clinical procedures under supervision.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, records, and logs.
- Conducting routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.
- Retaining analytic records for at least two years.
- Performing duties as an ER Technician when needed and traveling between facilities.
- Participating in staff meetings and performing additional assigned duties.
Qualifications and skills required
- High School diploma or GED; AMA-approved radiology program graduation.
- State-certified radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography; CT certification required (or within 12 months).
- Current BLS certification.
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Radiology, 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, including ER and CT experience.
- Proficiency with imaging hardware, software, and PACS; fluent in English.
