PeaceHealth is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Technologist to support outpatient clinics throughout Eugene and Springfield. Responsibilities

  • Perform radiologic imaging procedures in outpatient clinic settings.
  • Create a positive experience for patients who may be nervous, uncomfortable, or seeking answers.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and clinic staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Demonstrate venipuncture competency as required.

Requirements

  • ARRT eligible or ARRT Registered in Radiography.
  • Registered with OBMI; a temporary OBMI license is acceptable while awaiting ARRT certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program or a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred.
  • PACS/RIS knowledge required.
  • ImageCast/CareCast experience preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $40.11 - $60.17 per hour, plus a 15% differential in lieu of traditional benefits.

Schedule

  • Per Diem/PRN with variable shifts (8-12 hours).
  • Minimum commitment of one scheduled day per pay period.
  • Schedules provided 2 to 4 weeks in advance whenever possible.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of fine motor skills while operating medical equipment.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 30 pounds; assist with patient handling (up to 35 pounds with assistive devices).
  • Regular exposure to biohazards, bodily fluids, and airborne particles.
  • Vision, hearing, and communication abilities sufficient to safely perform essential job functions.
