About the role
To produce radiographs for medical diagnosis under limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Position patients and adjust equipment for proper exposure and film development.
- Record pertinent information regarding radiograph/scan production.
- Maintain assigned work area in a neat and orderly condition.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Student experience/internship in an acute care hospital with comprehensive radiologic services is required.
- Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Current Venipuncture Certification issued by California Society of Radiologic Technologists (CSRT).
Skills
- Knowledge of computers, anatomy, physiology, radiographic equipment, safety hazards, and body fluid precautions.
Pay
The estimated base rate for this position is $39.24 - $39.24.
