About the role
We are seeking a licensed Limited Scope Radiologic Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or an individual who has completed a Radiology course through an accredited program. We also welcome experienced Urgent Care Medical Assistants interested in becoming an X-ray tech. Ideal candidates are part of a solid and fun team, take pride in their work, are comfortable with technology, reliable, committed, and open to cross-training in both office and clinical duties.
Responsibilities
Medical Assistant Duties
- Assist in patient care
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Take vital signs and complete patient triage
- Document patient data
- Assist providers with procedures
- Perform unassisted routine patient care, including rapid testing, vaccinations, injections, EKGs, IVs, and applying orthopedic splints
- Discharge patients with instructions
- Clean and prepare patient exam rooms
- Ensure speedy and organized patient flow
- Inventory and replenish supplies
- Maintain equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting areas and front office
- Greet, register, discharge, and collect payments from patients
- Demonstrate strong phone communication skills
X-ray Technologist Duties
- Maintain x-ray files and records for all patients requiring x-rays
- Obtain quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure
- Implement safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to avoid unnecessary radiation exposure
- Ensure patient safety when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of x-ray station and workspace
- Operate x-ray and processing equipment properly
- Handle physician requests in a timely manner
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Urgent Care setting for Medical Assistants or Radiology Techs
- LSRT State of CO Certification OR ARRT National Registry (or completion/willingness to complete schooling)
- Professional and clean appearance
- Team player comfortable working independently
- Warm, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability in different situations
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Full-time (3.5 shifts per week) or part-time (1-2 shifts per week) availability
- Weekend flexibility every other week
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Englewood, CO 80113 before starting work
- 2 years of experience with EMR systems
- Availability for day and night shifts

Pay
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour, very competitive for the field.
Schedule
- 10-hour or 12-hour shifts
- Weekend availability required (every other week)
- Holidays
- Day and night shift availability required
