Radiology Technologist I

About the role

Performs diagnostic medical radiographic procedures and studies with a thorough understanding of standard radiography and fluoroscopy. Assists physicians, interprets orders, and explains procedures to RNs, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Assists in department operations by processing paperwork, films, and expediting patient transportation.
• Works in various areas of Diagnostic Radiology including Skilled Nursing, Operating Rooms, Trauma/ER, etc.
• Utilizes a filmless based environment.

Requirements

• Speak and read English at a level sufficient to perform essential functions.
• Knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computer skills.
• Windows computer skills including keyboarding, mouse usage, and basic software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure.
• Preferred Education: Associate's Degree.
• Minimum Experience: 0 - 6 months related.
• Preferred Experience: 1 - 2 years related.
• Required Certification: Certified Radiologic Technologist CRT(R).
• Preferred Certification: Not Applicable.
• Required License: Certi Radiology Tech CRT(F).
• Preferred License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT(R).

Skills

$41.15 - $61.79 per hour

Schedule

10 hours per shift, 80 hours per pay period
