Radiology Technologist I

Role: Radiology Tech PRN supporting orthopedic departments by performing plain films and fluoro x-rays to assist diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities: Explain procedures to patients, assist with patient positioning, transport, and preparation. Support technologists with filing, report delivery, and verifying patient identity. Follow radiation safety protocols, prepare contrast media, monitor patient during procedures, and ensure high-quality images are submitted to PACS. Maintain equipment functionality and department cleanliness. May perform limited emergent CT procedures. Ensure safety and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications: Completion of a Radiology Technology program and ARRT-R certification within 6 months. No prior experience required. Must meet physical requirements including standing, lifting, and reaching. Hold BLS certification and state-specific radiologic licenses. Skills: Good communication, patient care, attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work in a team.
