Radiology Technologist - Full-Time Night

About the role

The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations using advanced equipment, ensuring high-quality images while considering patient-specific needs. They apply clinical judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and minimal exposure, following ALARA principles. The role involves producing accurate images based on physician orders, maintaining safety, and delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures
• Ensure radiation safety and adhere to ALARA principles
• Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Apply clinical judgment for proper patient positioning and minimal exposure
• Produce accurate images based on physician orders
• Follow clinical best practices and safety protocols

Requirements

• Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License (new graduates must obtain a temporary license and secure national certification within six months)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Technical proficiency with imaging equipment
• Strong attention to safety protocols
• Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs
