Radiology Technologist - Full-Time Evening

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform imaging examinations following physician orders, utilizing advanced equipment while considering patient-specific needs. The role emphasizes proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and minimizing exposure by adhering to ALARA principles to produce high-quality images.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations accurately and safely
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to protocols
• Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Contribute to quality patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Valid Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months
• BLS certification required upon hire
• New graduates must obtain a permanent license within 6 months
