Radiology Technologist - Evening Shift

About the role

This position involves performing general radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, portable exams, and C-Arm OR. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides instructions with professionalism, and conducts imaging independently, including during on-call situations if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring high-quality customer service.
• Perform radiographic imaging exams independently across different environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
• Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois) and Radiology Technologist registration are required or preferred.
• CPR certification and at least 2 years of experience are advantageous.

Skills

• Optional experience in MRI, CT, ARRT, or related imaging fields is preferred.
