Radiology Technologist

About the role

The Radiology Technician at Saint Thomas Surgicare will perform various procedures under the supervision of specialized physicians, operate imaging and radiology equipment, assist in sterile fields during operating room and pain management procedures, maintain professional relationships with physicians and staff, and adhere to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians
• Operate special imaging and radiology equipment
• Maintain sterile field assistance during operating room and pain management procedures
• Maintain professional relationships with physicians and staff
• Adhere to local, state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
• Strong OR skills and/or Pain Clinic experience preferred
• AART Registered and CPR certified
• Current TN state license (MRT)
• One-year hospital experience preferred
• Independent decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations

Qualifications
