Radiology Technologist

Full-time, day shift position available Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm).

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiologic procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision of technical detail. The Rad Tech performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with integrity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Performs routine radiographic fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages (including pediatrics), demonstrates anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning and techniques. Performs and/or assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures independently, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
• Conduct routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
• Demonstrate anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning and techniques.
• Assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent customer service orientation skills.
• One year of experience as a Rad Tech or Radiologist (preferred).
