Schedule

• Full-time position, 72 hours bi-weekly
• 12-hour shift opportunities - 7am-7:30pm
• No scheduled weekends, could work weekends as needed

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Allied Health (Required)
• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Ohio Department of Health - Ohio Radiologic License (Required)
• ARRT - Radiographer (Required)

About the Role

Under the direction of the Radiologist and the supervision of the manager or supervisor, the radiologic technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Technologists are trained in multifaceted services such as Fluoroscopy, OR, ERCP, Digital Radiography, Portable x-ray equipment, Dexa Scans, etc. and demonstrates competencies annually. This position provides maximum benefit to the patient by producing quality images with the lowest possible radiation exposure to the patient.

Responsibilities include performing quality radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician and in accordance with department policies and procedures, working effectively with patients and families to provide patient care, maintaining cooperative relationships with interdepartmental team members, complying with infection prevention procedures, maintaining accurate records, ensuring radiation safety, participating in student education, orienting new employees, quality assurance, care of equipment, and other duties as assigned.

This position is required to meet the minimum continuing educational requirements established by the state of Ohio and maintain ARRT and ODH licensure.

• Consistently produces and evaluates diagnostic radiographs for radiological interpretation
• Maintains accurate records through completion of all paperwork
• Provides patient, family, and staff comfort and care before, during, and after procedures
