About the role
Performs diagnostic radiology and CT for hospital inpatients and outpatients in accordance with established standards and policies.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiology and CT for hospital inpatients and outpatients in accordance with established standards and policies.
- Adheres to safety protocols and ensures patient comfort during procedures.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure clear understanding of procedures and results.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient information and procedures performed.
Requirements
- Prior experience is preferred.
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Eligible for a permit to practice in the State of Iowa.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current in or attend the first available class to obtain certification in BLS for the healthcare provider.
- Current in or complete the course for Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter according to hospital Education Policy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT registration.
- Current permit to practice in the State of Iowa.
- Current certification in BLS for the healthcare provider.
- Completed Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter course.
