Responsibilities
- Performs and/or assists with all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
- Produces quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
- Collects Patient Data and Documents Procedure.
- Performs Radiographic Procedures.
- Affords Assistance to Physicians with Fluoroscopic Procedures in Medical Imaging, endoscopy, and the operating room.
- Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
- Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
