Radiology Technologist

About the role

Orthopedic Associates of Hartford, P.C. (OAH), established in 1970, is one of the area's largest and most respected orthopedic specialty groups, with locations throughout greater Hartford. We are seeking an experienced full-time Radiology Technologist to support high-quality patient care. In this fast-paced and challenging role, you will interact with physicians, patients, and other departments to provide the highest level of care. The position requires travel to our offices in South Windsor, Hartford, Plainville, Farmington, Rocky Hill, Glastonbury, and Enfield, with start times varying daily (as early as 6:30 a.m.). Flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiographic procedures under the clinical direction of an OAH provider and administrative direction of the Radiology Manager.
• Know and perform routine radiographic procedures of OAH.
• Properly identify radiographs and work lists.
• Handle radiographic processing and related functions.
• Produce quality radiographs consistently.
• Assist in taking inventory of supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Universal Precautions.
• Perform other related functions as requested by the Manager.

Requirements

• Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiological Technology.
• Board Certified in radiography by the A.R.R.T.
• Licensed by the State of Connecticut.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Experience with EPIC.

Schedule

Full-time position with varying start times (as early as 6:30 a.m.) and travel required between multiple office locations.
