Radiology Technologist

Role Overview

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams utilizing specialized equipment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain competency in clinical and technical functions
• Verify patient identity and prepare patients for exams
• Operate equipment and evaluate image quality
• Adhere to safety guidelines and document procedures accurately
• Assist and instruct colleagues and students
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort
• Follow infection control protocols
• Operate information systems effectively

Qualifications & Skills

• ARRT certification
• Radiologic technologist license
• BLS certification
• Preferred: 1-2 years of experience with IV certification
• Anatomy knowledge and image evaluation skills
• Equipment operation proficiency
• Teamwork and communication abilities
• Task prioritization skills

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to read labels and operate monitors
• Capacity to transfer patients and stand for extended periods
• Navigate busy environments effectively
• Manual dexterity and communication skills
• Physical strength for patient handling and equipment manipulation
