About the role
A qualified Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) is needed for an immediate travel opportunity. You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce accurate images for physician interpretation, prepare and care for patients during radiologic procedures, and ensure proper patient positioning and safety.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and follow physician orders
- Calibrate and operate diagnostic imaging equipment
- Prepare and care for patients during radiologic procedures
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety
- Maintain accurate records
- Utilize systems like McKesson PACS
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Current ARRT (R) certification
- Valid BLS and state-specific licensing (if applicable)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
