About the Role
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiology procedures for patients of all ages, under the supervision of a Radiologist. They handle radiographic procedures independently, applying technical expertise and judgment to ensure quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Performing adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric radiologic procedures
- Applying technical skills and independent judgment to produce accurate images
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care
Qualifications & Skills
- Successful completion of a recognized Radiology Technology program
- Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Preferred: at least 1 year of hospital radiology experience with diverse procedure competencies
