Radiology Technologist

About the role

Located at Johns Hopkins Imaging in Columbia, MD, you will join a team within the Johns Hopkins Healthcare System that serves a diverse patient population and utilizes the latest imaging equipment, software, and protocols. The environment emphasizes cutting‑edge imaging practices, evidence‑based patient care, and collaboration with radiologists, nurses, technical educators, and support staff. Technologists receive dedicated modality‑specific education to maintain high‑quality, protocol‑driven imaging and have opportunities to teach radiology assistants and students, as well as to learn across modalities.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations
• Provide appropriate patient care
• Instruct Radiology students
• Collaborate regularly with imaging technical educators, nurses, radiologists, and other staff
• Work with dedicated modality‑specific tech educators to ensure high‑quality, protocol‑driven imaging
• Participate in team‑centered patient care activities

Requirements

• Completion of an AMA‑approved program in Radiology Technology
• ARRT certified with current registration
• License through the Maryland Board of Physicians
• Ortho imaging experience strongly preferred
• Willing to work at the Columbia Imaging and Wilde Lake Pavilion sites
• CPR certification within three (3) months of employment

Pay

Salary range: Minimum $34.62/hour – Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

Schedule

Full Time (40 hours), Day Shift: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Saturday.
