Role And Responsibilities

The Radiology Technologist performs medical imaging examinations under physician supervision, producing clear x-ray images, positioning patients, and instructing on procedures. They operate portable and fixed imaging equipment, process films for interpretation, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications And Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed an approved radiological training program
• ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred: at least one year of diagnostic radiology experience
• Preferred: experience in an acute care setting
• Preferred: ARRT(R) licensure
• Advantageous: leadership experience
• Advantageous: 3-5 years of radiology work

Key Duties

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately
• Ensure equipment functionality and perform preventative maintenance
