About the Role
This is a procedural position in the surgery center/cath lab, focusing on Cath lab duties including scrubbing procedure cases, monitoring, and circulating.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized procedures, including peripheral vascular, interventional radiology, and coronary interventional and diagnostic angiography procedures using digital and conventional techniques.
- Operate radiologic, IVUS, atherectomy, and ultrasound equipment.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices in compliance with government regulations and patient safety.
- Review developed x-rays for clarity to ensure diagnostic purposes and physician interpretation.
Requirements
- Radiology Technologist license.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Cath Lab or Procedural Lab experience preferred.
Skills
- Full range of body motion.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, talk, or hear both in person and by telephone.
- Use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment and reach with hands and arms.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday - Friday, no weekends, nights, or holidays.
- Hours variable based on the surgery schedule.
- 8 or 10-hour shifts.
