Radiology Technologist

About the role

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the team at St. Joseph's Hospital Main and Children's Hospital in Tampa, FL. This full-time position involves performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, with potential for minor invasive procedures and support in the operating room and emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
• May perform minor invasive procedures
• Support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services
• Manage all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, and patient transportation
• Apply customer service and interpersonal skills in all interactions
• Demonstrate time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills
• Utilize computer skills appropriate to the position

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) – Registry Eligible; OR ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) – must obtain within 6 months
• State of Florida Radiology license
• Technical Diploma in Radiology OR Associate's Degree in Radiology

Preferred experience

• Experience with vascular cases in the OR
