Radiology Technologist
New location opening in early 2027—a three-story facility in North Scottsdale that integrates Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, cardiovascular care, medical and surgical specialties, neurosciences, specialty pharmacy, imaging, and urgent care. Team members will help build a collaborative, technology-driven environment designed to streamline patient access, navigation, and support throughout the care journey.
About the role
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will independently perform sophisticated radiographic procedures using your ARRT certification and clinical expertise. Your role extends beyond capturing images: you will educate patients about procedures and risk prevention, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure equipment operates at peak performance through quality control, and uphold the highest ethical and legal standards in every aspect of your practice.
Responsibilities
- Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines, using independent judgment and established methodologies.
- Educates patients and families regarding procedures, risks, and prevention.
- Demonstrates professional behavior and fosters teamwork to achieve efficient resource use and quality patient outcomes.
- Produces high-quality images and prepares them with pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
- Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
- Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements; troubleshoots and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance.
- Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors, adhering to safety policies.
- Upholds ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities, including maintaining confidentiality of all work information.
- Ensures efficient department workflow by performing other duties as assigned.
- Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to prevent service interruptions.
- Independently performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies and protocols.
Requirements
- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure by the applicable regulatory agency, if required.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
- Effective communication skills, human relations skills, and the ability to analyze data and solve problems.
- For positions at Banner Scottsdale Sports Medicine, second floor: possession of an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintained throughout employment.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, with available hours between 7:30 AM and 5:15 PM. Shifts are 8 hours, including a 30-minute lunch break.
