About the Role
Perform accurate radiographic and CT procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Execute radiology exams efficiently and according to protocols.
- Initiate interventions when exams indicate urgent attention.
- Review exam indications and report inappropriate orders.
- Provide complete exam data for radiologist review.
- Utilize PACS, RIS, HIS, and EMR systems, and manage image storage and retrieval.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards.
- Mentor staff and students, and assist with record maintenance.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Effective communication, visual acuity, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, including day/evening shifts and on-call rotations.
