Position Highlights
Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technologist - Ambulatory at Plattsmouth Health Center. This role is ideal for someone passionate about radiology and excellent customer service.
Job Expectations
- Room for a Provider or 2 in clinic
- Hand off patients to co-workers to complete x-rays
- Perform injections (medications, vaccines)
- Give oral medications
- Assist with procedures
- Draw labs
- Call to coordinate referral appointments
- Perform other clinical tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a JRCERT accredited program in radiology
- Current ARRT certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire or transfer
- Current Nebraska state license required
- BLS certification from AHA required
- If administering medications, current Medication Aid Registry listing or completed within first 30 days of hire or transfer date, and maintained thereafter required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in diagnostic radiology procedures
- Experience in a physician's office
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program
- Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups
- Experience with multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and radiology information system and PACS
- Medical assistant certification preferred
Shift
Full Time and benefits eligible (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week), Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts between 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM, No weekends/ No Call
