Radiology Technologist - 10-hour shift (JR222852)

About the role

The Radiology Technologist position is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment
• Document patient information accurately and timely
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized radiologic technology program
• Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in computer systems and software
