About the role

The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician. This includes taking patient histories, positioning patients appropriately, operating equipment, and processing images. The position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Take patient histories and explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients appropriately for imaging.
• Operate radiographic equipment and other imaging devices.
• Process and interpret images for medical diagnosis.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
