About the role
The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician. This includes taking patient histories, positioning patients appropriately, operating equipment, and processing images. The position requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Take patient histories and explain procedures to patients.
- Position patients appropriately for imaging.
- Operate radiographic equipment and other imaging devices.
- Process and interpret images for medical diagnosis.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency with radiographic equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
