About the role
The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to regulatory standards and policies related to medical imaging.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
- Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used in medical imaging.
