About the role

The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards and policies related to medical imaging.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
  • Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software used in medical imaging.
