Radiology Technician - PRN / Day Shift

About the role

Perform routine and emergent radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation, adhering to ALARA protocols to ensure patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment and manipulate mobile units
• Evaluate radiographs for technical quality
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety
• Assume responsibility for procedures performed and related tasks

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• ARRT registered or eligible
• Solid understanding of basic anatomy
• Ability to lift and transport patients
• Proficient operation of radiographic equipment

Skills & Abilities

• Technical proficiency in radiology
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to handle stress and recognize emergencies
• Familiarity with radiographic equipment and processors preferred
