About the role
MRI Technologists are responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients. They must ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Perform MRI scans under supervision
- Ensure patient preparation and positioning
- Monitor patient vital signs during the scan
- Document patient information accurately
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist patients through the MRI process
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current state certification as an MRI Technologist
- Experience in medical imaging preferred
Qualifications
