Radiology Technician

About the role

MRI Technologists are responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients. They must ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

• Perform MRI scans under supervision
• Ensure patient preparation and positioning
• Monitor patient vital signs during the scan
• Document patient information accurately

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist patients through the MRI process
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current state certification as an MRI Technologist
• Experience in medical imaging preferred
