Radiology Technician - $46 per hour

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technician for a staff position in Bronx, New York (Fort Lee, NJ also referenced). The role reports to the Chief Technologist and involves performing imaging studies with independent judgment, providing leadership to staff technologists, assigning work, and managing traffic control in the technical area. Responsibilities

• Patient and Room Preparation: entering patient data into Epic and other systems; positioning patient on procedure table; obtaining scout film; positioning monitors, foot switches, table controls and lighting.
• Obtain cut film and digital images: setting exposure factors and imaging equipment to obtain high‑quality images for radiologist diagnosis.
• Direct involvement during procedure: assisting interventional radiologist with sterile equipment; monitoring progression, exposure factors, fluoro time; operating injector when needed.
• Maintain adherence to imaging workflow in Epic and Philips Vue (PACS): tracking exams in Epic; verifying images in PACS for correct patient, exam type, labeling and orientation.
