Radiology Tech - Limited

About the Role

This position involves performing diagnostic procedures within the scope of practice under supervision, with the goal of advancing to a Radiology Tech Registered role.

Responsibilities

• Practice within state licensure and maintain competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure proper patient identification, prepare patients for exams, and perform imaging procedures according to protocols.
• Review images for quality, adhere to radiation safety, and complete studies efficiently without compromising care.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, practice infection control, and maintain accurate records.
• Operate imaging equipment and information systems, following protocols for coding, charging, and quality control.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited radiologic technology program with clinical and didactic training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, contrast protocols, and emergency response.
