Job Summary
Limited Radiology Techs perform radiographic examinations utilizing various technical aspects that require judgement, ingenuity, and initiative to obtain diagnostic images. They promote a cooperative and professional atmosphere with emphasis on patient care and serve patients of all ages.

Job Description
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of patient positioning, principles of CR/DR, Fluoroscopy, quality control, image processing, and the ability to plan own work.
- Aids physicians in performing procedures.
- Documents appropriate information in patients' charts.
- Ensures the procedure and related supplies are billed correctly.
- Examines requisitions for appropriate orders, exam dates, and indications for exams.
- Reprints corrected requisitions.
- Performs daily Quality Assurance and temperature documentation.
- Prepares the correct procedure tray when assisting physicians.
- Comprehensively provides quality diagnostic exams for interpretation.
- Competently works within required computer programs (i.e. PACs, RIS, Vrad) as well as manual downtime processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Additional Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent or General Studies Certification - Radiology Program currently enrolled/completed – JCERT Accredited Institution/Facility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) - Within 60 days of hire or transfer.
- Preferred Experience: 1+ years of healthcare experience
- Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Accredited University or accredited training professionals
Physical Requirements
- Heavy work - exerting up to 25 pounds of force constantly, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 100 pounds of force rarely to move objects.
- Possible exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances.
