About the Role

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under the direction of your Physician, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes. You will uphold the HCA mission to commit to the care and improvement of human life.

Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Center - North Central, located in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio, is a top revenue producer performing over 600 procedures a month. Our specialties include orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, gynecology, endoscopy, podiatry, pediatrics, urology, and pediatric dermatology.

We are now offering a $2,500 Sign on Bonus for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to the physician’s preference card.
• Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition.
• Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
• Confirm that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray.
• Communicate information about the patient’s status to other staff responsible for the patient’s care.
• Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
• Minimum two (2) years of radiology tech experience required; preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification.
• State license as required.
