Job Summary

Provides efficient oversight of daily assigned modality (s) operations, appropriate staffing, and patient care processes. Acts as a role model for service excellence. Ensures continuous improvements in quality departmental services. Organizes and assists with training of staff, new hires, and student internships. Affects patient outcomes by safely performing imaging studies. Demonstrates appropriate modality screening procedures while maintaining the safety of patients, visitors, and staff that enter the imaging areas/suites. Knowledgeable of equipment and supplies needed to ensure appropriate imaging. Coordinates effective schedules by organizing departmental resources and coordinating with key stakeholders. Demonstrates stewardship in regard to financial resources.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiology.
• Required License: Must be ARRT registered in primary modality supervising. Maintain BLS certification.
• Required Experience: Experience as a registered technologist working in a multi-disciplined Imaging Department. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, leadership skills, skills managing quality improvement and staff productivity. Experience as a Radiology Supervisor in a multi-disciplined Imaging Department is preferred.
