About the role

The Diagnostic Radiology Supervisor coordinates staff schedules, manages on-call scheduling and shifts, creates OR rotation, and assigns daily workloads to optimize patient flow. This is a working supervisor role that includes imaging inpatients and outpatients, performing portable imaging, and covering the OR as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with HR for recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff
• Conduct annual reviews, track competencies, and deliver performance feedback
• Monitor quality assurance for technologists and radiology students
• Troubleshoot real-time equipment issues and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance with field service engineers
• Monitor inventory and ensure par levels of daily supplies
• Investigate patient grievances and work to ensure patient satisfaction
• Lead ongoing staff education
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and regulatory bodies (NJDEP, DOH, Joint Commission)

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey (NJ DEP)
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
• Maintains required BLS/Heart Saver certification from an AHA-approved course
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay

$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
