Job Description
The Radiology Student Tech performs technical procedures involving ionizing radiation, preparing equipment, exposing x-ray film, developing films, and organizing patient rooms and supplies. Level I may perform x-rays under supervision, while Level II performs x-rays unsupervised after completing required clinical competencies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Enrolled in a CAHEA-accredited radiology program or equivalent
- Radiology Student Tech II must have completed 12 months of the CAHEA radiological technologist program
Skills
- BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer
- Previous clinical rotation experience required
