Radiology Scheduler

About the Role

This position involves scheduling patients, greeting visitors, and providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting. You will manage appointment bookings across multiple facilities, communicate with patients, providers, and payers, and ensure proper documentation and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling, rescheduling, confirming, and canceling patient appointments for various procedures and modalities
• Assessing and responding to requests from patients, providers, and payers
• Collaborating with departments for order clarification and process improvement
• Maintaining accurate documentation and understanding phone system metrics
• Ensuring a safe environment and supporting patient-centered care

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office
• Basic computer skills, including email and data entry
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform light lifting and extensive computer use

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or related field
• Call center experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
