About the role

The Heart Hospital seeks a Procedural Registered Nurse for a Full-time, Days shift working 5x8s. Responsibilities include assessing patients, creating and adjusting care plans, delegating tasks, and teaching patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prioritize their needs
• Create and adjust care plans for better results
• Audit nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness
• Teach patients and staff about care and procedures
• Use systems thinking to solve problems for patients, families, and staff
• Enhance nursing practice and work environment through professionalism

Requirements

• Accredited program or 2 years minimum, required for this position
• 2 years or more of RN Radiology experience
• A major focus or specialization in Nursing
• Relevant professional experience, though less than a year would suffice
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures
• Understanding of legal, regulatory, and professional standards
• Certification and accreditation requirements
• Familiarity with departmental policies
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to address problems with critical thinking
