Radiology Nurse - PerDiem - Day

Position Overview

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor's Degree (BS) preferred.
• Experience: One year critical care experience or training.

Other Credentials

• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider
• CPR
• ACLS (if assigned to: Critical Care/Intermediate/Telemetry, Emergency Rooms, Pediatrics/Pediatrics Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery, Surgical Services (not to include Perioperative), Interventional Procedures, Observation)
• NRP (if assigned to: Maternity Services)
• PALS (if assigned to: Emergency Rooms, Infant Follow-Up, Surgical Services (only PACU & Same Day Surgery), Pediatrics/Pediatric ED)

Summary

Knowledge and Skills:

• Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities

• Ability to organize care and/or activities of multiple patients.
• Possesses ability to assess data reflective of patient status and interpret appropriate information needed to identify patient requirements relative to his/her age specific needs.

Usual Work Day

• 8 Hours
