Radiology - MRI

About the Role

Perform advanced MRI examinations across diverse settings, including emergency, trauma, inpatient, and outpatient care. The position is travel-based, with responsibilities focused on patient care, technical proficiency, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurological, musculoskeletal, vascular, cardiac, fetal, and prostate MRI procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.
• Maintain accurate records in Cerner PowerChart.
• Explain procedures to patients and families.
• Administer contrast media as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations approximately every third week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year MRI Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Preferred certifications include ARRT (MR) and state licensure in radiologic technology.
• Experience with advanced MRI techniques such as gradient echo imaging and multiplanar reconstruction.

Schedule

Evening shift of 8 hours, with 40 scheduled hours per week.
