About the role
The Radiology - Medical Physicist - Clinical Faculty position is dedicated to providing expert guidance and support in the clinical application of imaging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development in medical physics to improve diagnostic imaging techniques.
- Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Train and mentor students and residents in medical physics.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to medical imaging equipment.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Physics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of post-doctoral experience in medical physics.
- Experience in teaching and training medical physics students and residents.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
- Ability to obtain a medical license in the state of Ohio.
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles and technologies.
Skills
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Experience with medical imaging software and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
