About the role

The Radiology - Medical Physicist - Clinical Faculty position is dedicated to providing expert guidance and support in the clinical application of imaging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development in medical physics to improve diagnostic imaging techniques.
• Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Train and mentor students and residents in medical physics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to medical imaging equipment.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Physics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of post-doctoral experience in medical physics.
• Experience in teaching and training medical physics students and residents.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
• Ability to obtain a medical license in the state of Ohio.
• Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles and technologies.

Skills

• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Experience with medical imaging software and equipment.
