Radiology Manager

About the role

Manages operations of the Radiology department, working closely with off-site radiologists and physicians. Responsible for developing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality, cost-effective radiology services.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates departmental services to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Maintains records for Quality Assurance, accreditation, OSHA, and legal compliance.
• Assists in preparing and monitoring the departmental budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Collaborates with leadership to solve operational issues and improve productivity.
• Performs quality control testing and generates quality assurance reports on radiology equipment.
• Coordinates staff and student training, orientation, and scheduling to optimize department performance.
• Supports application and implementation of computer systems.
• Recruits, hires, trains, and evaluates staff; leads performance reviews and coaching.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree (completion within 5 years of hire).
• Preferred ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Leadership and management experience preferred.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform essential functions with visual acuity and effective hearing.
