Radiology Intern PRN

About the role

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision, ensuring optimal image quality and personalized patient care in a fast-paced environment. Recognize emergency situations and provide compassionate, quality care in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards.
• Manipulate radiology equipment, including mobile units, and adjust exposure factors.
• Transport and assist patients, recognizing emergency situations and responding appropriately.
• Maintain effective communication and uphold the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a second-year accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Effective communication skills in English and basic computer knowledge.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and transport patients, stand and walk continually, and manipulate radiology equipment.
