About the role

The X-Ray Supervisor performs diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging for patients of all ages. They are responsible for operating radiographic equipment, selecting appropriate exposure settings, and evaluating images to obtain optimal results. Providing personalized care that respects patient dignity is essential, along with adhering to patient care standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate X-ray equipment
• Carry out imaging procedures
• Respond to emergency situations efficiently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS certification
• Enrollment in a recognized Radiologic Technology program

Skills

• Effective communication in English
• Basic computer knowledge
• Physical ability to lift, move, and transport patients
• Ability to stand and walk continually
