About the role

The X-Ray Technician performs diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging and personalized patient care across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate X-ray equipment and select appropriate exposure settings
• Evaluate radiographs for quality and accuracy
• Transport patients efficiently and safely
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations
• Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Skills

• Basic computer knowledge
• Physical ability to lift and move patients
• Effective communication skills in English
