Essential Responsibilities
- Manages operations including FTE and NPE budgets, PTO approvals through TORT, backfill via Stafferlink, supply orders in OneLink, unsigned studies reports, PACS exceptions, and unended exams.
- Counsels and supports employees in resolving member concerns.
- Partners with internal customers to improve workflows and resolve issues.
- Manages 60-75% of department employees, including total performance reviews, development, and FMLA submissions in partnership with IDM.
- Oversees equipment failures, notifies leadership/call center when impacting patient care, and ensures proper documentation.
- Identifies trends in exam/patient needs via volumes and access reports; drafts business and capital cases for Director.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum five years as a radiologic technologist, sonographer/ultrasound technologist, mammographer, or nuclear medicine technologist (Nuclear Med experience required).
- Minimum three years as a radiology supervisor with direct reports, annual reviews, hiring, and terminations.
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic imaging program, Bachelor's degree, or four years in a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate (Washington) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate OR Radiologic Technologist Certification OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

- Knowledge of hospital regulatory requirements, accreditation, managed care, and healthcare delivery systems.
- Ability to recruit, mentor, develop, engage staff; monitor performance; deliver results; hold staff accountable.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, anticipate, and respond to issues.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
- Financial management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Office Buildings open 24/7.
- Availability for on-call rotation (24/7 regionwide support; managers reachable by phone as early as 5 a.m.; evening/overnight from 5 p.m.).
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Registration in multiple disciplines.
- Master's degree or six years in a directly related field.
- Budgeting, finance, Six Sigma project management, or union experience (UFCW environment).
- Managed 30+ employees across modalities in acute care.
