Radiology Director (Administrative)

Opportunity Highlights

• Lead radiology operations and services across a complex healthcare enterprise
• Partner with physician, executive, and operational leadership on strategic initiatives and program development
• Oversee operational performance, patient access, quality, safety, employee engagement, and financial outcomes
• Develop and maintain a high-performing radiology leadership team
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, utilization, and the patient experience
• Participate in strategic planning, business development, and future service-line growth
• Provide leadership around equipment planning, fleet management, and capital needs
• Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to optimize RIS, PACS, and other radiology technologies
• Maintain readiness for accreditation and regulatory requirements
• Work within a collaborative environment focused on continued innovation and improvement

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience leading a radiology/imaging department, with 10+ years preferred
• Strong understanding of inpatient and outpatient imaging operations and multiple imaging modalities
• Experience managing budgets, expenses, and revenue-cycle performance
• Experience with strategic planning, equipment management, and/or imaging business development
• Demonstrated success leading teams and developing strong leadership structures
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working collaboratively with physicians and senior healthcare leadership
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in healthcare, business, or a related field preferred
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT preferred
• CRA preferred at hire or ability to obtain within 12 months
